You. Were. Right. I. Was. Wrong.
A couple of weeks ago Jay insisted that we purchase a toaster oven. I have been denying this request for 4 years. "It will just be one more appliance taking up space in my kitchen." Or, "Only Filipinos use toaster ovens." Not PC I realize, but I just did not see the value in it. Two weeks ago, Jay walked our entire family into Macy's, picked one out and we headed to the car. When we got home, I unwrapped it, cleared out a space in the cupboard and put it away. Jay suggested I simply leave it on the counter and I brushed off his suggestion.
It is now my favorite appliance. I used it 3 times today. Are you kidding me?? I'm a cook, not a chef, and I even fight the cook label, but this little contraption has made my life easier. From toaster waffles to cheese bread to creamy spinach parmesan I love my little toaster.
Today I took a picture with my favorite new appliance and sent it to my hubby. He's so excited about my omission that I decided to make it public. Yes Jay, you were right, I was wrong. Enjoy your moment babe.
I wanted to send Jay a pic of me kissing the toaster, but it was too hot. I had just used it people!
