How exciting to watch your kids grow! Avery flies completely solo at the park now. I still chase her around out of fear of her falling, but yesterday I couldn't keep up. I brought the camera and started snapping pics as my little girl climbed, jumped and slid down any and all things. I'm so proud of her. I have an adventurous spirit and managed to break more than one bone in my childhood and Avery may have inherited that same dare devil spirit.
I thought Brenner was going to be my cautious child but he proved me wrong as he flung himself down the slide at least 30 times. Jay and I are slowly realizing that Brenner will fool us with his sweet and mellow disposition, but then be ALL boy.

Hard for me, but also awesome.

Big tree
What an incredible day! We packed up and headed to Glen Oak to eat BBQ, hike and have some apple pie.
I love nature. On our treacherous hike (only treacherous because we were pushing a double BOB through mud and up hill both ways) I harassed Jay about selling everything, scaling down and relocating. Somewhere simple, where we own land and our kids play on the long dirt driveway and we experience the seasons. These words from my mouth our usually met with an eye roll from Jay but he amused me today. I absolutely want to go back for the Apple Butter Festival.
